Horizons 2nd Meeting was a Huge Success!!!

Horizons night was a huge success!!! There were almost 100 people that attended with their kids. The moonwalk in the backyard seemed to keep them occupied! Also we had a new friend of mine that led us in an incredible song, I Can Only Imagine. I am sure you know the song. There was a real God moment created as all of us were engolfed in the presence of God. It was awesome sharing that moment with all of you. Also Chris Zarbaugh prayed at the end, with a few good words (being that I took all the time) from John Ruvalo. I am not sure on the spelling of these guys names, but I am sure they will let me know later! Love you guys! Thank you to all those that attended and took the time to come. It has been a crazy day...this thing is beginning to snowball into something great!!!

The next meeting you want to put on the calendar is November 9th at 5pm. It definately will not be at my house! We love our house, but it definately can't hold all you fine folks forever. Plus I don't want to stifle our growth, so let's keep moving. The next location is "to be announced", isn't that fun?

Handfuls of families signed up last night, while others are praying about it. Let's consider getting on this ride, and as a team let's put our faith in Christ alone, and let Him bring us to the place where we really want to be...On the Horizon!

Sunday October 19, 2008 Launch Meeting 5pm

Our 2nd Vision/Info meeting is being held at my house again on Sunday Oct. 19th at 5pm. We will have cider and donuts from Yates Cider Mill, a huge inflatable Castle for the kids, a worship leader to bring some music, and also a great compelling vision talk for about 20 minutes from Me! We want anyone that can come to do so. My hope is that you will sense God leading you to be a part of the team to help release this vision into Macomb Twp. My address is posted under my profile. Vision/Info Meeting 10/19/08

Our second vision/info meeting is this Sunday at 5pm at my house. The last one was a great success. I am expecting this one to be more of the same. That night will consist of organized stuff for your kids with moonwalk, food and fun, food for the adults with many other people to connect with and a "short" vision/informational talk from me! We simply want to create awareness for Horizons Church, without pushing you to join something. Everybody, Please keep in mind our next date for our 2nd vision/info meeting for Horizons Church. October 19, 2008, Sunday, 5pm at my house. If you don't have the address, email me and we can get that to you. We will have food, a moonwalk for the kids, childcare, and a compelling vision statement by me! I am only looking to talk for only 15 minutes. The rest of the time would be spent connecting with others. My hopes is that God will tug on the hearts of those present to want to be a part of a vision that God is birthing in Macomb Twp, through Horizons Church. Invite friends, neighbors, and others to come. Who know what could happen!
