1 Timothy 4:16: "Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers."
I have been hearing a lot about this lately. It is important to take inventory of our spiritual lives, and what we are communicating to others about their spiritual lives.
As leaders we must know the Bible. But know it in such a way that can be practically lived out.
I would like to see more Bible happening in our churches, then even being preached!
Many don't need to hear another sermon, but put into practice what we already know.
Either way persist in these things. Yourself, your teaching, and others.
