This Just In

Yesterday was my last day pastoring a church in Port Huron. We had resigned due to our responsibilities to planting our new church, "Horizons". If you didn't know, we had been helping a church in Port Huron, Blue Water Christian Church. That was a great group of about 50 people that love Jesus. As we said our goodbye's, we ate with them, exchanged some personal thoughts about our time there, and said how we would love to keep in touch. This transition was a very smooth transition. We had someone from our Bay City church that was trained and ready to take the position in Port Huron. Transition can get sticky if you don't look to handle things right. But this was smooth and easy! We will miss serving our friends in Port Huron. I am sure that in the future we will minister to them from time to time. We love the people in Port Huron. Big thank you's to David and Cheryl Ferranti who helped us through this transition. Also to Brad and Nancy Williams and their family for taking on the responsibilities to lead BWCC. A great big God bless you to the Port Huron church. Thanks for being patient with us through this time. You are strong because the Word of God abides in you!

New House

We have moved to our new house in Macomb Twp! It is a brand new place that we had been originally praying for. The Lord is good to us. We actually moved about 3 weeks ago now. Most of the boxes have been unpacked and we are getting situated.

Horizons small group has been meeting every Thursday from 8-9pm only. We purposely keep it to only 1 hour because if we don't we will pontificate all night! Plus the season of "The Office" gets recorded while we are doing the spiritual stuff. When that is over most everyone stays to watch it without the commercials!

God has been leading us in many things as transition is upon us again as we transition out of our Port Huron Church. That seems to be going OK, but some aren't so patient. And I don't mean me either! Transition is difficult enough as long as we continue to handle people with grace everything should work out well. We will miss our friends in Port Huron. But Michael W. Smith wrote a song that was titled,"Friends are Friends Forever If The Lord Is the Lord of Them". We will remain friends with them, but our relationship will simply be different. I appreciate all that God is doing in the Port Huron Church.

That fills you in......

Moving Forward

Anything alive should be growing.
Movement is good in your spiritual life too.
Anything that is stagnant has the potential to have bacteria growing in it.
The lack of movement in life is a dangerous thing.
Some will sit around and wait for God to move and never get anything done.
I would be more on the proactive side-I move God!
God has done all for us to activate us, He is waiting on you!
Make the hard decisions you must make, and if you are wrong, then God is big enough to show you and lead you in another direction.
Don't worry you won't miss it! God is in control.
I believe it was Charles Stanley that said it takes many small steps before you take a large one.
Start taking steps toward your goals and let God open some other doors for you!
